Opportunities in Pinellas
Please call 344-1038 to arrange free information session.
A great place to start is seeking appointive office in local Boards, Neighborhood Associations, and Citizen Advisory Committees. There are several Libertarians in government office in Pinellas. The current milestone goal is to have 25-30 in or from Pinellas, a density (approximately 25 per million population ) being attained by other developing Libertarian teams and which experience shows creates considerable momentum.
- Please examine some of the opportunities available, particularly vacancies in the appointive area, and see where you may have an interest. If after observing a few meetings they interest you, you will probably have attracted interest from Board members already. Discuss requirements and needs with them..
- Odd as it may sound, there is nothing inappropriate with proposing new Boards that do not consume tax money, engage in coercive regulation, and instead have a facilitative, voluntarian purpose. Libertarians have played key roles across the nation in creating Police Conduct Review Boards, Government Waste Task Forces, Historical Preservation Councils, Privatization Commissions, and Voting Fairness Citizen Boards.
Please check out the opportunity links below, and for the next step or other questions join http://www.pinellaslibs.uni.cc/
